A morning greeter

When I came back from feeding the goats this morning look who was waiting to greet me by the door!

Judging by the bare ground in front of him and the multiple piles of deer berries, he must have spend most of the night in this spot.  He was not very old, probably one of this year's fawns.

Where did November go???

Wow...  it has been over a month since I last wrote.  Where did November go?  I spent most of it outside because the weather was so nice.  If you would like to see what I was up to, go to my other blog Prairie Goat Farm.

I want to welcome my first follower, Orange Sink!  And in response to her comment about my header, here is the rug the header is from

I designed this rug and started it at the 2009 Northern Lights Rug Hooking Camp in Crosslake, MN.  Kathy Morton Mullvain was my teacher.  The rug came about because I wanted to do a primitive floral rug (I am more of an animal rug hooker so I wanted to go outside my hooking box).  The bowl is the Watt bowl my Grandma gave me to make cookies in.  My Grandma was also an avid flower gardener so this is a memorial rug to her.

I have started hooking again now that the weather has gotten cold and snowy but what I am hooking is to be a Christmas gift so I can not show it until after the holiday.
